BMW WilliamsF1 Launch this Friday Jan 7th 2005 at the Bahrain International Circuit
05/01/2005: The Bahrain International Circuit will be the venue for a super car shoot-out on Friday January 7th, as the F1 BMW Williams will take on the latest BMW M5 and M6 in a one lap challenge.
This will be one of the highlights of a fun and action-packed day when top Formula 1 drivers Mark Webber, Nick Heidfeld and Antonio Pizzonia will drive and test the BMW WilliamsF1 car in preparation for the 2005 Formula 1 World Championship.
There will be Bahraini stars too, as Mohammed Al Baharna, Hamed Al Fardan and Shaikh Salman Bin Rashid Al Khalifa will drive a range of BMW cars.
There will be a Mini stunt driving session and fans will be able to catch a rare glimpse of the Formula 1 stars and even get their autographs in the public area behind the grandstand.
The day is open to the public from 12:00 and the tickets can be purchased at the Circuit on the day and at BIC tickets outlets at Seef Mall, Dana Mall and Bahrain International Airport in advance.
