CSV kick-start free trials at Dubai’s Autodrome

Preparations are all set for the fourth round of the Lumina CSV Middle East
Championship, due to take place from the 24th to the 26th of January, 2008, at
the Dubai Autodrome, alongside the Grand Racing event.

Drivers from as far as Australia, France and Holland have already started making
their way to the Autodrome with the hope of stealing the number one spot from
Fahad Al Musalam.

The Bahraini driver from the Lechner Racing Team currently leads with 117
points, whilst Saudi Abdul Aziz Al Yaeesh from the UMA Motorsports P1-AFR stands
in second with 96 points. In third place, and with 67 points, is Bahrain’s
Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from Peak Performance.

Yesterday evening saw the Grand Racing press conference, which included guest
speaker Sherif Al Mahdy, Lumina CSV Middle East Championship Manager, who
offered an explanation into the world of Lumina CSV. Currently in its second
year, he highlighted that the Championship was growing at exponential rates and
expected even greater growths as international drivers were already showing
interest in the upcoming season.

Arriving today were Lumina CSV Race Director, as well as Bahrain Motorsports
Federation Manager, Abdul Aziz Al Thawadi, who is standing in for Elie Semaan.
BIC Media and Press delegation will soon be arriving, and will be headed by
Ghada Al Ansari, BIC TV and Radio Manager. Her team will consist of Nadia Al
Dhaen and Chaker Ben Yahmed, TV and Radio Technician at the circuit. Faisal Al
Shaikh, Senior PR Executive at the circuit, will be leading a team of national
press members, to cover the fourth round, including Hamad Mohammed, BIC
Photographer, Amir Al Baqali from Alayam, Patrick Solomon from the GDN and
Esther Ellen Cogan from MaxMedia.

The free sessions will take place on Thursday from 1625 UAE time, whilst the
qualifiers will take off on Friday from 1700. The first race will be held on
Saturday at 1110 and the second will be held at 1645.
