General
1 What happens at the Bahrain International Circuit?
Numerous events are being held at the circuit such as F1, F3, GT, drag races, mini challenge, corporate days, concerts, The BMW Racing School, private functions and much more.
2 What sort of concession stands will be available at an event?
There will be various vending stands offering a range of food and beverages, merchandising and exhibitor stands.
3 Who do I speak to if I was interested in opening up my own stand at the track?
Please contact our Events Department on events@bic.com.bh, detailing the request and contact details and we will respond accordingly.
4 Will alcohol be served at events?
As Bahrain is a Muslim country there will be no alcohol available for purchase by the general public except in association with the various hospitality products
5 Can I visit the pit lane?
The pit lane is a restricted area to the general public except for members of the exclusive hospitality products.
6 Where is your head office located?
Our head office is located at the Circuit in the Sakhir Tower.
7 How do I apply for a job?
All resumes are welcome. Please e-mail to recruitment@bic.com.bh.
8 Are there any camping facilities at or nearby the track?
No, camping is not allowed nearby the circuit.
Tickets
9 How can I find out the ticket prices?
Ticket prices are available on our website, through the contact centre and outlets.
10 How can I purchase a ticket?
Customers can purchase their tickets at any of our outlets or through the Contact centre.
11 Do I get a discount if I buy a large number of tickets?
If you are not registered with us as an official PRP, BIC does not offer any sort of discount on the tickets no matter how large the quantity.
12 How will I receive my tickets?
You can either collect them from an outlet or they can be sent to you depending up on your requirements.
13 What payment methods are accepted?
We accept cash or all major cards; Visa, Master Card, Amex. We do not accept Dinners Club and Cheques.
14 Where are your outlets in Bahrain?
Seef Mall, Airport Arrivals, and Airport Departures.
15 Are there any outlets in other countries?
In other countries we mainly deal through our Privileged Reselling Partners (PRP), who sell tickets on our behalf.
16 How do I know who your PRP’s are?
A list of PRP’s and their contact information is available under Circuit on the homepage.
17 What hospitality packages do you offer?
The BIC offers various hospitality packages depending up on the event. In general, we have VIP Lounges, Corporate Lounges.
18 How much are the tickets for the VIP Tower?
Tickets to the VIP Tower are not obtainable, as it is for private use only.
19 Are the tickets personalised?
No, they can be used by anyone.
20 Are the tickets refundable?
No, they are not.
Travel and Accommodation
21 Can you help me find accommodation?
The BIC does not offer packages that include accommodation, but a list of PRP’s who can are listed under the Circuit section of the home page, or our contact centre can guide you in this matter.

22 What is the capacity of the track?
The track can hold up to 70,000 spectators.
23 Where is the track?
The track is located in Sakhir, behind University of Bahrain.
24 Are the stands shaded?
All grandstands are covered and shaded.
25 What is the capacity of each stand?
Main GS: 10,500.
Oasis Complex:3,500.
University GS: 7,500.
Turn 1 GS: 7,500.
Victory GS: 5000.
26 Will there be any facilities for the handicapped at the track?
There are 98 seats for the handicapped.
27 How long is the circuit?
The circuit is approximately 5.417Km long.
28 Will there be earplugs sold at the track?
Yes, earplugs are available at the concession stands.
29 Will there be any screens at the track?
There will be giant TV Screens at each stand.
