The Bahrain International Circuit ("Circuit") is owned by Bahrain International Circuit Company SPC ("BIC"). For the purposes of these conditions the Circuit includes Circuit car parking areas. All persons entering the Circuit ("Visitors") are admitted subject to the conditions set out below. Admission Tickets ("Tickets") are issued subject to these conditions.

Tickets

  1. A Ticket is and remains the property of BIC.
  2. A Ticket becomes void and confers no right to enter the Circuit where BIC has reason to believe that it:
    • is to be or has been sold at a price higher than its face value; or
    • is to be or has been used as a prize in a lottery, competition or for any other promotional or advertising purpose unless expressly authorized in writing by BIC.
  3. BIC is not obliged to replace a Ticket in any circumstances. However, BIC may at its sole discretion replace a lost or stolen Ticket and charge a fee for that replacement.

Events

  1. Where a Ticket is purchased for an event at the Circuit ("Event"), Ticket holders acknowledge that the Event may be held on such dates approved by BIC.
  2. BIC reserves the right to vary programs, seating arrangements, other conveniences and attractions and determine and publish additional conditions applicable to the Ticket holder in connection with the Event.
  3. BIC is unable to offer refunds or exchanges for Tickets unless the Event is cancelled.

Photography and Recordings

  1. The use of cameras and film recording equipment at the Circuit and the making of visual representations of the Circuit is either restricted or prohibited altogether.

    The reasons for this are:

    • Security - They may jeopardise the security of Visitors and the Circuit itself.
    • Copyright and Designs - The Circuit owns copyright and design rights. Photographs and other visual reproductions could be used for commercial projects resulting in losses of revenue to the Circuit.
    • Third Parties - BIC has entered into commercial agreements with third parties which may restrict or preclude altogether the use of the rights of those parties. Where subject matter is protected by copyright or design rights, it may not be reproduced in any form without the permission of the owner of those rights.
    • Loss of Retail Revenue - Visitors are encouraged to buy mementoes in the form of videos, postcards, books etc. from outlets in the Circuit.
    • Misrepresentations - BIC can be misrepresented when images are taken or made and used without permission together with inaccurate information about the Circuit.
  2. Visitors are permitted to take snap shots within the Circuit, but strictly without the use of a tripod and on condition that the photograph or recording is used solely for the private enjoyment of the person taking the photograph or recording.
  3. Films, photographs and the making of other visual representations, such as drawings, for any commercial purpose are not permitted without BIC’s prior consent and by prior arrangement with BIC.
  4. Visitors acting in breach of condition 8 or 9 must deliver up to BIC any films, representations and other recordings to BIC and the Visitor assigns (by way of present assignment of future copyright), the copyright in all such items.
  5. Applications can be made to take photographs or make drawings for private educational research, if copyright or design rights allow. Such requests need to be made in writing to: info@bic.com.bh
  6. From time to time BIC or other authorized parties carry out photography or make video or sound recording or other visual impressions in the Circuit which may feature Visitors. By entering the Circuit Visitors agree that BIC or any authorized party may use such recordings and images in perpetuity and for any purpose without compensation or payment of any kind.

Loss of Admission Rights

BIC reserves the right to refuse admission or eject from the Circuit without refund any person who:

  • who does not produce a valid Ticket on request;

  • who enters an area prohibited to the Visitor or damages, interferes with the property of BIC or anyone else;
  • who climbs over any fences or other structures without express permission; or
  • breaches the requirements of any of these conditions.

Exclusion of Liability

  1. Visitors are reminded and agree that motor racing and certain associated activities are dangerous and accidents can happen.

    • the failure or unsuitability of facilities (including grandstands, fences and guard rails) to ensure the safety of persons or property at the Event.
  3. Visitors acknowledge that entry to and remaining in the Circuit has a degree of danger and to the extent permitted by law hereby exclude, release and forever discharge BIC, the Bahrain Motorsport Federation, Federation Internationale de Motorsport, Formula One Administration Limited, Event sponsors and all others involved in the organization, conduct and promotion of the Event ("Associated Entities") from all liability for claims, loss, damage, costs or expenses arising from or connected with the Event and admission to the Circuit.
  4. Visitors also acknowledge that the Associated Entities do not warrant that services at the Event or in the Circuit will be provided with due care or that any materials provided in connection with those services will be fit for the purposes for which they are supplied. Visitors acknowledge that to the extent that any warranty from the Associated Entities is implied in relation to those Services, it is excluded to the full extent permitted by law.
