Pilota Ferrari Private Event at the Bahrain International Circuit
15/01/2005: Over the weekend (Jan. 13 & 14th 2005), Bahrain International Circuit hosted the first Ferrari driver training event in the Middle East. 24 cars participated in the event at the Sakhir premises. Eight professional drivers from the Italian School Pilota conducted the lessons on the right way of driving a Ferrari. Owners of Ferrari cars in Bahrain and Kuwait attended the event and were taught by the likes of former test drivers Andrea Bitshini and Antonio Tamboriti and former world karting champion Jan Piero Simoni.
Martin Whitaker, General Manager of the Bahrain International Circuit enthusiastically stated: ?¢â‚¬?“The event was a huge success for all involved and I know how much those who participated valued the day both in terms of enjoyment and the experience they gained from Ferrari?¢â‚¬â„¢s team of instructors.
